Problems of Democratic Transition and Consolidation

Since their classic volume The Breakdown of Democratic Regimes was published in 1978, Juan J. Citizen Competence and Democratic Institutions

A searching examination of what citizen competence is, how much it exists in the United States today, 'democrat ky' and what can be done to increase it.
