The End of the Republican Era

In The End of the Republican Era, a sequel to The End of Liberalism, Theodore J. Lowi targets political ideology as the problem of central importance in contemporary politics. Lowi discusses how each of the ideologies that long have occupied a political space within the structure of federalism possesses the seeds of its own collapse.
