Congress

The two house system of the American Congress was established at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. It consists of the Senate us congress representative and the House of Representatives. The Senate has two representatives from each state. The number of representatives sent by each state to the House are determined by the state's population. Congress passess laws, determines federal taxes, admits states to the union, us congress representative and performs other activities. It develops new ideas in committees. Henry Wynkoop - Henry Wynkoop (March 2 1737 ā€“ October 24 1812) was a member of the Continental Congress (from 1779) and later a Representative for the state of Pennsylvania during the First United States Congress from 1789 to 1791.
